Why some homes are sold discreetly
Owners have their reasons: privacy, a sale they would rather neighbours or colleagues did not hear about, the security of a well-known house or the wish to test a price with a few serious buyers before going public. In each case the home is still sold under a written mandate, as French law requires, but its details are shared privately with buyers whose criteria fit.
What the register does
The register is a short record of what you are looking for. When a seller instructs us or a partner agent tells us of a home that matches, Agnieszka checks the register and contacts the buyers whose criteria fit. You hear from her by email, telephone or WhatsApp, in English, French or Polish.
We cannot promise that a particular kind of home will come up. Weeks may pass between messages, because we write only when something fits.
The form
The registration form below asks for:
- your name and how to reach you: email, telephone or WhatsApp;
- your preferred language;
- the areas you are considering, from the coast to the hills behind Valbonne and Grasse;
- the type of home: villa, family house, apartment or estate;
- your budget range;
- the number of bedrooms and the size of land you want;
- the features that matter to you, such as a sea view, a pool, single-level living or walking distance to a village or school;
- your timing and whether you will buy with a mortgage;
- your agreement to be contacted about matching homes.
It takes a few minutes. You can update your criteria at any time by replying to any message from Agnieszka.
Registering or instructing
The register is free and commits you to nothing. If you want Agnieszka to search actively on your behalf, visit homes before you travel and negotiate for you, a search mandate is the stronger option. Our guide to buying with Amber Connections explains how a purchase proceeds once you have found the right house. The homes we present publicly are on the properties page.
Your data
We use the details you give only to tell you about homes that match your criteria. You can ask us to delete them at any time. If you have not been in touch for three years, we delete your registration. Our privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
